DMC Light Effects - Glow in the Dark - E940

This works so well and has made my project level up. Im so happy with the glow in the dark. I wasnt expecting it to work as well as it does.

Very splitty knots real easy and ends up in several strands of thread seperating as you pull through.

I bought this along with others to do snowflake projects and another project. The colour and quality of the thread was perfect.

This concept is really cool, glow in the dark is so much fun, I had really high hopes for this thread and whist it is OK, the effect doesn't last for long once the lights go out, it's also not quite as glowy as other brands. Also something to note if you are using this, the thread itself is slightly transparent so if you are using it on a dark aida the result in daylight will look slightly grey, something to consider if you are doing a hidden aspect and want to surround it with a similar colour. I used blanc next to mine on a black aida and you can see the difference between the shades as the glow in the dark looks darker/greyer next to the blanc/white shade.

I bought this product to just see what I could make and not expecting it to 'glow' that well. HOWEVER, it's a great product which really really glows well. I have made a few spooky cross stitch projects ready for Halloween and it looks great! Even more so in the drak!
