Self Adhesive Board

This was exactly what I wanted for my cross stitch pictures. It is strong enough for stretching the picture over the board. Foam board is too thick for some picture frames.

A4 self adhesive mountboard

the board is nice and stiff, and the sticky surface is really adherent, but you can still peel off your needlework if you misplace it. and doesn't ruin your fabric.

I have never used adhesive mounts before. May sound like a silly question but do you mount the sewing on the sticky side, or the other side and fold the excess fabric over onto the adhesive to hold it in place?

To keep everything straight and secure the stitching is mounted on the adhesive side. You can either cut any excess overhanging the board, or fold over and tape down on the non-adhesive back of the board.
