Self adhesive mount board from PeakDale products, with strong acid-free adhesive on one side of the board, plain white on the other. Board thickness is 1.5 mm. Suitable for mounting photographs, artwork, prints and needlework projects.

Very good.

Bought this as an alternative to the one I've bought before, and this is better. While the board itself & adhesive are comparable, the backing is much easier to peel off without mangling a corner of the board while trying to get it 'started'.

Self adhesive mount board for cross stitch

The board was very easy to use. I cut out the size by using the board from the frame as a template so a perfect fit. Pealed back the plastic cover and stuck on my cross stitch. Had to peel off a few times to make sure it was centralised, this was ok to do. Then cut off excess Ida. Press down to make sure it was stuck down all over. Put in the frame. Perfect

Q: is it possible to remove a completed cross stitch once stuck down without damaging the threads at the back?

Yes this should pull away if you go slowly and check for any loose threads catching to lift them as you go.

Q: Is this board in white? I concerned that cream might show through the cross stitch.

The cream is the backing paper which is removed to make the adhesive show. The board itself is white.
