Long stitch kits use longer stitches over several canvas threads on a printed design. Usually a quicker, bolder finish than fine counted cross stitch, with canvas, threads and needle in the kit.
A long stitch kit typically includes printed canvas, wool yarn or stranded cottons, a needle and instructions so you can stitch long stitches over two or more canvas threads.
In-stock kits include Sue Dakin designs with Paternayan yarn on 22 count printed canvas. Examples in stock include Kingfisher, Bold Lattice, Bold Triangles, Cottages Spring. Long stitch differs from tapestry kits, which usually cover the canvas with shorter tent stitches.
