Product Description

Now you can sort and store all of your DMC embroidery threads using this thread storage box from DMC. The thread storage box is used for both storing and for organising cardboard thread bobbins so that you can quickly find the thread you need and so you cahn manage your thread stock!

It comes complete with 50 free cardboard bobbins to get you started and it will hold up to 100 bobbins that are wound with thread. It also contains a list of DMC Stranded (Art.117) colours for your reference.

Love this product, plenty of room for storing threads, see through lid lets me know what colour tones are stored there, (lights/darks, I have more than one of these boxes) easy to stack only minus is the cardboard thread holders, a bit flimsy, but other wise everything good

Floss Storage

I was desperate for more floss storage because mine was filling up fast. I have bought Hemline in the past and would've preferred have the same size but there were none in stock. The DMC was cheaper so I thought I'd give it a go. I wish I knew about these sooner as it is great. Maybe a little smaller but much sturdier and so far doesn't have the problem of the hinges snapping to the lid falls off. I might have to convert over time and use the Hemline for spares, bits and pieces etc.

Hi! Will the dmc plastic bobbins fit in here vertically/ standing upright ? (not sideways like in the photo). Will that lid close ok if they are upright? Thanks!

The bobbins can be added upright, if they are not packed in too tightly and can lean slightly the lid closes on them. I use them this way myself.

What is the height of this box?

The box is 4.7cm tall when closed. It is just the right size inside for the cardboard and plastic thread bobbins from DMC to stand up in.
