Christmas tapestry canvases with the design screen printed straight onto the canvas, so you stitch from the printed image rather than following a chart. Most are supplied as canvas only, with a list of the DMC threads you will need.
A tapestry canvas is not a full kit. The design is screen printed onto the canvas in colour, and you stitch over the printed image in tent or half cross stitch - there is no chart to follow and no counting, which is what makes tapestry a good place to start.
Most of these Christmas canvases are supplied as canvas only, so the threads are bought separately. Each one comes with a list of the DMC threads the design needs, usually giving both a cotton and a wool option, so you can choose the finish you prefer and buy only the shades you do not already have. The Grafitec designs are printed on 10 count duo canvas at 40cm x 50cm; sizes and counts for the Diamant and Gobelin-L designs are listed on their individual product pages.
Many of our product pages include the lsit of DMC Tapestry Wools that are required to complete the design. You have the option to add these wools to the basket at the same time as the canvas.
