Luca-S The Butterflies Cross Stitch Kit

This kit is one I have wanted since it first came out. I like the fact that the charts are much larger than design size which makes it easier to read symbols under backstitching lines, which are marked in different colours. The charts are black and white with two extra overall charts, one showing full design and second with all back stitching/outline lines in symbols.Because of the enlarged charts I will put more grid lines on the fabric to help manage vision going from chart to fabric. The threads themselves are bound on long ‘bobbin’ cards ( 10 to a card), which means much less tangles. The outstanding delicacy of the design is achieved by clever use of shading with the added bonus of only whole cross stitches. A kit that will require patience but will be a joy to stitch and is definitely a totally recommendable Luca-S project.
