To be quite honest I was a little disappointed by the hoop. I bought 'a better quality' hoop to use as my working hoop, planning to use my bamboo ones just to frame with. I had to sand the Elbesee hoop and could still feel little splinters so I haven't used it.

Embroidery hoop

Are these embroidery hoops 8mm or 10mm deep?

We measured this as 9mm in depth, the edges are slightly cornered so the part of the hoops inner and outer rings that touch are 8mm.
