Anchor threads are made of cotton, so they have a high shine and colours are slightly muted compared to the wool/acrylic blends. These threads tend to be used to give true to life colour and finish to a design. The threads are softer to the touch and a little fluffier than stranded cottons. You do not split these threads and use one, two or three lengths together as instructed by the chart.
