Bought this as a wedding gift as my daughter is getting married shortly. The chart is black symbols on white chart, making it very easy to follow as each square can be marked off with pencil . I did find that stitching the writing with one strand of thread looked “spidery” so I re-stitched it using 2 strands which looked a lot better. Turned out really well and I had it framed.

Brilliant! That's the word I would use to describe Stitcher. Since discovering this site it has been my 'go to' for my embroidery needs. I love the colours of the DMC threads and the quality of the evenweave fabric. Response to my orders has always been prompt & courteous and the orders arrive on time, which is great when I am in the middle of a project and run out of a thread. Definitely also value for money!

I love making these . They are very eye catching when completed. I have completed 9 of them. Of those the best instructions were in 6815. As someone who does a lot of crafting I tended to use the picture rather than instructions to work with. Friends of mine who are not as ctraft minded thought them difficult. Before joining them I lined the white back with Christmas material to give it strength and durability. Then joined them and bound the edge with bias binding in appropriate colours. This gives them strength and as it takes a while to make them gives them a longer life. The felt for the base of the stocking could be of a thicker quality. The one I usually buy for toys etc. that I make to sell for charity is. By adding these extras I feel my end results for these stockings make them well worthwhile making. I hope this review is helpful. I have another one on order which I sent for today. Personally I would not suggest suitable for beginners. Jean Hall

I needed a special fabric for a wedding stitch for my Daughter. Had to have some bling! This sparkles so beautifully in the light and will look amazing when finished and framed. The slightest issue (probably only me that would suffer) is that I have to use a head torch when I stitch at work and the glitter is then very bright for the stitching! The fabric is good quality and the price was excellent. Did wonder if such a price was too good to be true but it wasnt. Highly recommend!

DMC 14 Count Aida White Large Fabric
I was pleased to receive my order of a large piece of 14 count AIDA cloth in a timely manner. It came exactly as described - in a large roll and packaged in a round cardboard tube. This was a relief as having originally ordered the same item elsewhere, it came in a very small envelope and, due to the number of creases, was totally unsuitable for what I needed it for. I am currently using the cloth for what is possibly my most challenging x-stitch picture (40,000 stitches) and I am finding the AIDA of a good quality and comfortable to use, so I have no hesitation in recommending STITCHER.
