Derwentwater Designs Poppy Cross Stitch Kit

This design would have matched the picture much more closely, but I didn't identify all my colours correctly and thought a pale pink was intermediate. By the time I had realised it was easier to introduce a new pale pink rather than unravel the whole thing, but I was still very pleased with the result. I find bolder colours easier to distinguish as I get older!

I made this Poppy cross stitch card kit for my Dads birthday in April this year and he has kept it up on the top shelf. It was a lovely one to make and I was very pleased with it and couldn’t wait to give it to him on his birthday. It looks quite professional and more expensive looking than it actually was, it came with a card and envelope and my Dad really liked it.
