I've used a different floor standing tapestry frame for many years but decided to buy the Elbesee because my current project is quite wide. The frame arrived very quickly after ordering and no problem to assemble it. I love the cog wheels on the frame because it makes it easy and stable to turn it over to the under side. Its a joy to sit at and fits very easily against the wall when not in use.

What is the size of the frame please? Also what is the smallest size canvas I could use on this frame?

The widest part of this frame is about 32 inches where the floor level cross bar is bolted to the legs.
The frame can take any width up to 27 inches, but as small as 2 or 3 inches, and the shortest depth you can set the bars to is about 6 inches wide - so maybe 8 or 9 inches of fabric to have enough for attaching securely.

Is the tapestry secured by sewing in place onto tape or is it secured by plastic rollers

This frame uses a strip of fabric along the rollers and you sew your canvas or fabric onto this.
