DMC bamboo crochet hooks are lightweight 16cm hooks with a coloured flower band on the handle to mark each size.
Sizes currently listed run from 4mm through 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm and 10mm, each about 16cm long.
The coloured bands help you grab the right hook from a set without checking the stamped size every time.
Start with the size your yarn ball band recommends, or collect a run of sizes if you switch between light and chunky yarns.
