DMC Stranded Cotton Shade Card Thread

Came well packaged and it is a much needed addition to my craft kit. Use this to compare colours which allows me to stitch from stash.

This shade card, as it contains real strands of thread, is a very good tool for keeping track of colours and finding appropriate substitutes.

As I’m now making more self-designed embroidery projects than using kits, I decided to invest in the DMC threaded colour chart, and it’s already been so useful. Instead of looking at colours online (which aren’t always true to life), then trying to make a list to take to my nearest thread stockist (which doesn’t have natural light), I can now make a comprehensive list using this chart and know exactly what colours I’ll get. It’s also useful if you have a length of DMC thread you can’t identify. Not just that but it’s almost like a piece of artwork in itself. Stitcher had the best price and the chart arrived really quickly. Very happy customer.

Someone had recommended this online and I thought why have I never seen this in the years I have been crosstiching! I have many coloured threads with no numbers so couldn't really use them. I thought why not it's a good price and may just help me especially with a pattern I have no numbered colours for. Well this is brilliant!!! I managed to match my colours with the numbers and the nearest shade. If you use coloured thread and haven't got the shade you need I highly recommend this chart. I love how the colours are actual threads! The fold out design is great and the printed numbers on the page take you straight to the shades you need. 5star! Thank you!

I've been after one of these for ages but couldn't really justify it until I was given a load of un-numbered DMC. This has been invaluable in sorting them out and, lets be honest, it's blummin gorgeous to look at, especially when you open it for the very first time. I just have to remember to keep my dirty hands off it now x

Starting on this new hobby and I want to be able to use good quality thread but minimise waste. Having this DMC colour chart is super useful for choosing the right colours for my project. This was my first order with Stitcher, and with the help of this chart (which was cheaper than other online suppliers) I've just placed my second order for the threads I need!
