Am having trouble doing the eyes are they done in half crocc ctitches...no explanation on the sheeet

A half cross stitch is sewn through the centre of the sqaure marked out by four holes in the aida fabric. It is easier to stitch these with a sharp needle, such as an embroidery needle, as cross stitch needles tend to be blunt and more difficult to push through the fabric.
