Elbesee Embroidery Hoop 8 inches
To be quite honest I was a little disappointed by the hoop. I bought 'a better quality' hoop to use as my working hoop, planning to use my bamboo ones just to frame with. I had to sand the Elbesee hoop and could still feel little splinters so I haven't used it.

I chose this as appealing to kids as granddaughters have started cross stitch pictures, thought this might be something different? But the beads are absolutely tiny so probably not ideal for children unfortunately. Will find another way to use them, but as I got them in the sale we can be imaginative without thinking we paid a lot!!
Elbesee 18 x 12 inch Easy Clip Tapestry Frame
Frame arrived quickly and was well wrapped. It didn't take long to assemble but when working a tapestry the clips kept falling off no matter what strategy I employed to prevent this happening. In all honesty I couldn't recommend the product.
I ordered some thread and although it came very quickly and stitcher was very helpful the thread did not the colour I still had although I gave the right code. So was unable to use.
VDV White Peony Embroidery Kit
Lovely printed picture but all the information is in Ukrainian & scant, luckily I asked a friend to translate for me & still none the wiser, no advice on what stitches so I’ve gone ahead with mostly long stitch. The worst aspect is the lack of threads! Only FIVE colours & nowhere near enough for the project. Yes, the description of them is accurately acrylic but it has the texture of fine wool, which I have before & know that only single stand should be used & have some left over from another kit but not enough for the many different colours so I’ve have to mix it with cotton threads, very different in texture &hope it will not ruin the effect of finished piece. Not impressed at all with this, my first purchase.

The suggested wool colours provided with this large piece were rather garish. Non availability of the anchor sample cards eventually lead to a complete swap out in favour of Appleton’s wools of which I happen to have the sample swatch. Not the most accurate of printing either so somewhat disappointing this time .

This is definitely not a beginners kit. The pictures in the instructions do not really match the pattern. I have done hardanger before, so i could decipher it.i was going to give one kit to a novice and she would have had no chance.

I think it should have been made clear that previous experience of Hardanger is absolutely essential. The instructions are pitifully inadequate without this prior knowledge. Even now that I have done some workshops I still find the instructions pitiful.

the colours on this design are too close together in shade and make the pattern very hard to read. A nice design but difficult to stitch

I actually gave up on this one! Very confusing only doing half stitches. The kit itself was well presented and delivery was quick.
